im thinking a stock supra weighs more and has a little bit less hp (where can you find a stock one anyways) but just curious.. should the advantage be on the s' side?

anyone has any first hand experiences? this isn't quite a "street encounter" so i decided to put it here.

 

Supercharged S will has no problem with stock supra.

 

Its funny that you brought that up I had a topic on my cousins Supra TT a year ago and I found out some interesting things...One thing I found out was 93-97 Supras ran 14.00 in the quater mile stock and in 1998 the Supra hit a 13.6...Of corse those numbers are magazine numbers but maybe that will help...I have seen stock S2Ks hitting as low as 13.8 in motortrend...Hope that helps.....John

 

You should be able to walk away from him. I'd be more worried about what he has lurking under the hood. I've seen enough "stock" Supras to be leary...

I know right. Anyone with a supra has spent at least $100 on a boost controller or $25 on an air filter and gained about 50whp at least. Give me a break...the only way you're beating a BPU supra is if they let you.

Unless they're N/A...they're not stock supra's.

 

 

thank you for all your inputs. no i wont be racing any supras. my friend brought up the subject. i dont think he really knows how much the supercharger helps. no, he doesn't own a supra, we both know what a supra can do. its just hard for him to picture the supra being the one that's left behind. (talking stock supras here)

oh and yes, to find a stock supra is almost impossible. once you do see one, you can't help but wonder...how do i convince them to sell it to me
