Don't start it every once in a while

Fill the gas tank up

Either connect a trickle charge battery charger or disconnect the battery entirely

Change the oil before you first start it after the 10 months

I only let mine sit for 2-4 months over the winter...

All I do is pull the battery and put a cover on it.

If you are in severe climate, I'd make sure my coolant was properly mixed to ensure you don't get a cracked block, and I try to time my oil changes so I get the most out of it before I put new in for the spring.

Maybe put a piece of carpet under each tire so it doesn't sit on the concrete.

Other than that...don't sweat it.

If it's going to be a long time, I would drain the gas tank, and then put fresh in, whats in the lines will make it stutter/pop for a few when you start it but burn up rather fast.

B/c if you have a full tank, I wouldn't feel comfortable running all that through...would take way to long.

If you live next to a field or have mice you may want to wrap your air filter with steel wool to keep them from chewing on it. Those things will eat anything.

The reason for starting it every once in a long while is it's really hard on the motor(Dry). Might as well just wait all the way till spring or whenever you are going to drive it again so it's only hard on the motor to start up one time.

Umm, no its not.

I'm not speaking out of my ass if you look at my sig you can see I used to be in the military. Have stored plenty of cars over the years and had friends start them every month or so. Its not hard on the motor. Dunno where you're getting that from.
