Default Straight Through Exhaust Piping

Hey I was thinking about selling my t1r 70mm exhaust and just getting a straight 3" mandrel bent pipe all the way back, no muffler or resonators or anything. Does anybody here have that and have some pictures or sound clips of their setup?

what about an electric cut-out, that way you can chose if you want exhaust or no exahust.

I may do that to keep my sleeper look.

cousin had one on his trans-am. worked perfect, no leaks.

you could go cheap and use an old throttlebody. i've seen it in person, leak free... pull a cable, open the plate. haha.

I like those cut outs, only way I would go straight pipe. To freakin loud to drive around otherwise.

That NFR that just cut the mufflers off was just dumb. What is the point of driving around something that loud unless you have a huge turbo..

It mountes before your cat or TP and has a straight pipe that attaches through to the regular exhaust system. So when the flange is closed, the exhaust goes through the pipe in the cut out all the way out through your cat/TP and out the back mufflers; just like normal. When you hit the electronic switch in the cabin to open the valve on the cut out, the exhaust goes straight out your headers/downpipe and out of the cut out. This skips all the rest of the exhaust, so it flows much better. It is obviously also much louder, because your exhaust goes through no resonators, cats, mufflers or anything else. Just straight out. Pretty neat!
