Default Super Charger Questions

I just picked up a vortech V2 super charger kit for my ap2. I bought a 3.6 inch pulley so im aiming for 14 pounds and around 400-450whp. What fuel pump should i go with? I wad thinking a classic walbro 255, but what do you guys think.
Also how exactly do i go about the cooling section of the charger, does the coolant come from the car or is it a seperate system? And how much would i have to add?

I'd go with the AEM or Aeromotive fuel pump. Walbro makes more noise and seem to go bad more frequently than others.

Coolant for the aftercooler is it's own system. Uses a front mount heat exchanger and pump that cycles the coolant/water to cool the intake charge. Just keep feeling and burping the system until it is full.

I second the AEM pump. I've been happy with mine.

If you don't ever get below freezing where you live use distilled water. That will cool the best. Or as little coolant as you can as water cools better than coolant but can freeze of course.

No disrespect to the other members, but I would NOT go with either of those manufacturers. They are poor QA/QC made in China pumps. Their failures rates are high and you won't know it unless you're on the dyno or you have a fuel pressure gauge with some fail safes built it.

Go with a walbro or denso. Those are oem suppliers and you want oem reliability with your fuel supply. Yes some have had success with the aforementioned pumps, but there are plenty of failures. Search for yourself and look at other platforms. Ask who is tuning your car for his/her advice.

Go with the Full Blown 340. Proven. Can use your stock hanger. 100% bolt in. Quiet, versatile and reliable.

There has been a string of cheap Chinese knock off Walboro 255 pumps as well. I got one and it supplied no more fuel then the stock pump. I had a genuine one previously and it was noisy and fock. a 255 also is pretty low on the delivery range for 450whp+ A 340 is the best size to deliver the fuel needed wile also not over cavitating the fuel like you can get with some of the bigger 400 pumps.

The only time my 255 get noisey is when im very low on gas.

I heard that its noisy when at the track and running hard for a while. Otherwise it's quiet.
