Default Supercharged Trap Speed

Curious what various supercharger setups trap. There doesn't appear to be a lot of information out there??

Is there a thread/sticky/faq I'm missing? I've seen a number of comments saying a well setup blown s2000 "should trap between 110-113".

If you've dragged your blown car, what was your trap speed? And your setup?

7 PSI at around 7000' Density Altitude, I was trapping about 104-105. That would probably have been about 107-108 at sea level

Can't remember the pulley size, I think it was a 4.2" or 4.0"

Comptech Novi 1000 aftercooled
AEM 1052U
RC 750cc injectors
Walbro 255 pump

Made 279 whp on a dyno dynamics uncorrected.

I think I was launching mine at 6100-6200 to prevent from bogging and spinning the tires so I wouldn't grenade the diff on 245/40/17 Dunlop Z1 Star specs

above 5k. slip the clutch. you should def trap high with that kinda power. when i made SC roots 344whp, i trapped around 110 car always felt like a dog at the track. i only ran it in hot weather though

oh well. turbo 450whp, i trap 121 in hot muggy weather.

you should def trap in the 115+ range.

Have fun and if I could offer Advice it would be to Pre-load the Diff & Drivetrain. You will not only safe your diff & axles, but get a pretty consistent 60'

Good info guys, thanks for the responses. I know a lot of you have run in hot weather, but it looks like 115 is a reasonable upper limit for a supercharger on a stock motor.
