Default Supercharger?

Hey peoplez....

Just curious and its not a "for sure" thing but just wondering if one day i decide to get a supercharger kit for the s2000, how much would i be looking at lobor cost for installation for the s2000 after i buy all the parts?

Would anybody know.

Because im guessing if the supercharger kit cost be about $2000 and labor about $500 - $1000 that wouldn't be to bad of deal for the extra power you gain out of it, or would it?

Also how much more power will i gain by doing that?

I'm not much of a "modifying" man, i just like to get a nice good looking car with a bit of power when needed. but maybe in the later stages of my life when i get a daily driver i might start doing some things to the s2k.

oh, and by the way im from Australia, Melbourne. Just so people from America and the UK don't start to go on about prices and all the way in Australia it might be completely different prices for labor and parts and stuff. lol
If you can't tell by now im a NOOB.. lol

Thanks in advance

Eddy

Start browsing the FI forum. All the info you could need is here.

labor? diy! there are guides and a lot of members that can help you out here. everything i ever did on my s2k was done by me, not 'cause i like doing it but 'cause i can. inquire around your local section and see if there are any s2k buddies nearby with fi experience.

Used kits go for ~$3000. Labor would be $700-1000+ on average. Install it yourself, They are pretty straight forward and you don't need many tools.

I do have a couple of mechanic mates and if i understand what use are saying is thats its not too complicated to install it then i probably would do it myself with a couple of mates.

Are there a lot of people that have done this conversion to their s2000's in Melbourne? or even Australia?

Thanks again guys.

You're dreaming for $2000 though.

I'd think ~$3300AU would be the cheapest deal you will find for a complete kit posted to your door from the USA.

Thats talking 2nd hand market.

New will run you nearly $7K posted + labour.

Just be sure to have a search around s2ki (when the search actually works ) for anything. This site is full of information.
