Supercharger with Front Mount Aftercooler
Hey Guys,
I've been reading a lot of info on this "Forced Induction" thread and I just got some ideas which I should save money and go all the way just like Silver S2k4.
I've noticed that instead of buying the Supercharger with Aftercooler, why not just save some money and buy the Tech 2 Front Mount?
Also, I would also buy the Tech 2 7psi pulley and AEM EMS.
Do you think this will work? Am I missing something? The only thing I can think of is the water pump.
Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks!
Nick

Well, I should've made my question more clear.
I want to SC my AP1 soon and instead of spending $1000 for a Air-Water aftercooler, why not just put a FMIC?
I initially thought that the Tech 2 was an Air-Air FMIC but it sounds like it is an Air-Water.

Wow, that's pretty interesting! I don't know why you would need Air-Water for a FMIC.
Probably more efficient for a street driven car to be air-water.
The Tech2 front mount radiator is simply a larger version of the heat exchanger you get with the Comptech after-cooler kit. You still need to purchase the Comptech kit - and will simply swap out the smaller radiator for the Tech2 equipment.
The Tech2 is not an intercooler - but simply a larger water-to-air radiator.
