Supercharger front mount piping sizing ?'s
What is everyone using / having good luck with using. Im looking for somthing that flows nice without being to big in dia. and losing too much boost. I have a percision 600 that has 2.5 inlets on both sides.
I currently have a 2.5 kit, but it looks a tad small compared to the non aftercooled ctsc pipe that goes to the throttle body.
I was also thinking of going 2.5 to the intercooler, and 2.75 out of the IC and to the TB.
Just wondering what kind of setups people have.

2.5" is good. after hearing all the stories about pressure loss i actually wanted to go even smaller than 2.5 but since the outlet on the charger is 3" (on the comptech, i dont know about the VT) and the TB is 2.75 i figured it best to not step down too much.
2.5 to the hotside and 2.75 on the coldside is a good idea too, but be warned that piping is HARD to fit into this bay at those sizes. i had a hell of a time getting my 2.5" stuff to clear the large rad fan (from the outlet of the charger!)
here are pictures of my setup...
i very obviously don't recommend using rubber fittings for a blow off valve lol. this was just a temporary setup to get the car moving along.
anyway, hope this helps!

^I'm sure Telo's engine bay was a work in progress. One of the old posts suggests the if you use anything less than a 9lb pulley you will have about a 3psi pressure loss, Washabi has had good results from his setup, maybe he'll chime in.

did you read my post? what about the part that mentioned 'temporary setup?' i'm surprised you didn't mention that my car looks stupid without the front bumper on, too.
read my words if you're going to look at my pics. i also highly recommend giving advice instead of talking shit.

My apologies. Didn't mean to come off so harsh. Internet forums it happens sometimes.
