Supercharger + nitrous? Need some input
If you were to do this, I would DEFINITELY go direct port wet shot. No way I would want to be pushing that much power on a single nozzle, even if it is "only" a 50 shot. That power curve would be retarded sick. Uphill climb from supercharger + slight downhill curve from nitrous, plus a kick in the pants everytime you shift.
Honestly if you want a lot of power, and then more power for special occasions, I would probably opt for a turbo set up and wire in a low boost / high boost switch. That seems like the easiest way, plus you'll never find yourself stuck with a low pressured bottle when you decide you need the extra power randomly

Excellent info, thank you! It sounds like a direct port kit is worth the extra cash for the safety. A turbo with low/hi settings probably would be easier when all is said and done, but I really want to try this out. I'm kind of sick of turbos - my last 2 cars were turbo. I'm going to have to attempt to price this set up and a fuel set up. I'm definitely getting an e85 tune, but if I can swing it, I'm doing the nitrous on top. If not, then maybe later next year. I definitely want to try it at some point.
That NANO set up is interesting. I never heard of it until you mentioned it. Need to do more research on that.
I've been talking to bluemetals2k about it, and he was having problems with the huge drop in fuel pressure causing a lean spike when the nitrous first sprays, and that was on gas, not e85. I have basically no experience with high hp fuel systems, so that's a big concern at the moment. Still working on it. Thanks guys!

search BLV. guy made it work on his blower setup. you can run pump gas boost when on pump gas, then run full boost on the corn gas. nitrous is nice, but gets very pricey. id run the blv setup if i was SC.

Do nitrous and get a nano system.. Never have low bottle pressure and never need to heat it up..

I think the NANO system would be a great replacement for the bottle heater. Plus it allows you to use the same bottle longer before needing a refill. Sounds like a worthwhile investment.
Where's a good place to buy a nitrous kit from, with good pricing? I'm gonna start figuring out the cost for this stuff.

Not sure on the duty cycle. Honestly, I'm really having a hard time figuring out the datalogging with the EMS. Ecuflash was much more user friendly on the Evo..
I forgot to mention that I have the Novi 1200 charger, but I'm not sure if there are better options available. From what I've read, the 1200 is one of the most versatile/best performing chargers.
I suppose I could just try the e85 first and see how that does. That would certainly save me some cash for now. As far as top end vs bottom end, a friend of mine had a 150 shot on his old S2K, and when the spray kicked in (I forget the RPM), he had basically his full hp and torque all the way to redline. It was pretty amazing how well it worked. Regardless, the nitrous would obviously only be used for straight line stuff. I don't know, I just have this desire to do something different.
Even if I don't do the nitrous right away, I probably will at some point. I know there are supercharger gurus and nitrous gurus here. Let's get a collaboration.
