S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Is a supercharger reliable enough to have on a DD?

How reliable is a SC if your car is a DD? For those with it, do you ever get random check engine lights, problems etc or does it work perfectly no problems?

Do you also have to replace clutch?

How much did install cost for a SC install?

Paying $5395 for comptech AC setup

I have a comptech charger and daily driving it, no probs at all. I would get a clutch tho, I went with an ACT set up. 600ish is typical for install.

Thers a comptech for sale in the Classifieds now I think for like 3900 with aftercooler

Good luck. Remmeber once you go boost you'll never go back, lol

I had a Vortech, and it was a very expensive mistake. Customer service is a foreign concept @ Vortech. If you must go FI, get the Comptech.

I would think eventually you would need a clutch even without launching but there's people who track there cars on stock clutchs and boost so it depends. I would get a clutch just so you don't have to later cause its more to replace it with a charger on and getting stuck on the side of the road blows hard.

It was installed fine. Vortech uses a shitty blackbox made by Split Second. I went through 3 or 4 of them, and each time meant back to the shop, waiting for the new part, and more R&R expen$e. Never stranded the car, but it ran like shit when it was bad.

Last time it failed, it wouldn't engage VTEC. Vortech was no help whatsoever, they referred me to Split Second. What a great way to treat your customer!

Going to an AEM EMS would have likely fixed everything, but I didn't want to throw any more $$$ into that money pit. FI was fun, but I'm happy to be back to stock again!
