That sounds about right. The more power you make the more it costs. Bottom line.

 

You're in a hell of a lot deeper than me, but even so, I try to avoid keeping track of what I have put into this car. Not only the mods, but the expense of the shows, tires, toys ... It wouldn't be so bad, but this thing is a long-term project. Still, when I look at the car it makes me smile. I never wanted a car that was a rolling billboard; bought silver to keep a lower profile , but things change, and I'm enjoying the changes to the max. At the last SCCA autocross I attended I had a guy ride with me on one of my runs (I almost always have a passenger for every run at the SCCA events) ... as we powered off the first turn he laughed out loud, and said, "I had NO IDEA!" As we powered off the second apex he giggled and said, "Oh my God, I had NO IDEA!!" His amazement increased on every corner, and under my helmet I was grinning so hard that my eyes were watering. How can you put a price on something like that?

 

Better still, I've seen some very attractive young ladies totally turned on by a fast ride, and it's hard to put a price on that either.

It's really worth whatever it costs.

Wayyyyyyy too much. Had I invested, I could have bought another S to replace the engine I blew on this one. Then I would have money left over to get a nice beater, a bike and a nice trip to Europe.
