Was going to put a comptech on my car here soon and was wondering what exactally it takes to make the car run well w/ it.


I was thinking of a new managment system, mayabe make it lower compression with some pistons and maybe nthing else....


Does it even take anything at all to put on acomptech for it to run well? Would a stock block hold it?? Let alone whole stock engine...

 

You don't "need" anything - it's a kit made to be bolted on and run.

 

You take it out of the box, follow the install instructions to the letter and it'll work just fine. Nothing else needs to be done. Many stock Comptech kits have been running in these cars for years. It's when you start messing with it to pump out more power that you run into complications.
