Default Switching from Kpro to AEM series 2

So all of this E85 talk going on is making me hungry to convert. SOS has the flexfuel sensor system which got me thinking. I do want the flexibility of switching or blending dino and corn so that I don't have to panic when I can't find E85 so using the SOS sensor system works for me.

SOS recommends using AEM series 2 to make the sensor system work.......Problem is,is that I have Kpro.

When I do the switch to AEM series 2, do I need to switch back to the stock cam, crank wheels and sensors (also IAT sensor)? Or would it be as easy as unplugging the Kpro and plugging in the AEM series 2?

Any other mods for me to do to make the switch?

FYI: 05 S2000 shooting for around 550-600 HP.....more info is in my sig.

Thanks

So no plans for Kpro to utilize flex fuel in the near future?

I believe I read not too long ago that they were working on flex-fuel for Kpro.

You can keep the k-series cam and crank sensors, just use a k-series aem

Awesome thanks....makes sense.

Any opinions on if I should wait for Hondata for flex-fuel compatibility? OR just go AEM?

IIRC I read it in a thread on here maybe a month or two ago. I have no source or info to verify it unfortunately so it could have just been misinformation. I tried searching google and can't find any info about it either so I could be dead wrong.

The S2000 AEM EMS can be configured for the K-series sensors. We can pre-configure the AEM EMS for these sensors if you decide to purchase it.

That being said, Hondata has mentioned progress on FlexFuel for K-Pro. You may want to check with them on this. Their existing solutions have been compatible with the Continental sensor we use in our kit, so this should be plug and play for you if it becomes available:
