T fitting for oil feed!
Hey everyone,
I recently purchased a used turbo kit and I'm trying to figure out my oil feed situation. I've searched around for quite a bit but I'm the type of guy that wants to get this crap right the first time. I'm using my buddies shop at his house to put the kit on in a few weeks when we have a long weekend, and I want to have everything prepared as well as possible before we begin.
My question is: Is there a way to keep the factory oil pressure switch and T it off to the oil feed to the turbo, and what sizes on the three sides will I need?
I am using an AEM v2, so will the oil pressure switch do anything for me anyway? I'm assuming the safest route would be to just get an oil pressure sensor and use the t fitting I currently have.
From what I'm reading the block has a 1/8 NPT? or BSP? I've seen both of those acronyms thrown around-- and my Oil feed line i'm pretty sure has -3 AN..
Here's a picture to kinda show you what I'm currently working with. The previous owner had an oil pressure sensor in his setup.

I removed my switch more for a pressure gauge. I don't know when the switch activates....but if activates at a real low pressure, seeing an oil light might already be too late.
I have always used 1/8 bspt for the block fitting.

I used this to keep my factoy oil pressure sensor worked great and it's steel.
