Default Taking the next step...

I'm looking for some input on my proposed course of action to take my turbo setup to the next step. I guess i'll start with what my current setup is and putting out, then go in to where I would like to go. Trying to decide on a manifold in particular, but if anyone has any other suggestions let me know. Pos/Neg input welcome!

Current setup
aem 1052
aem wideband wired to ems
IP log manifold
PTE 6265 ball bearing with 4" SP cover
3" exhaust straight to a magnaflow muffler
open dump
Siemens 107961 630cc
walbro 255
stock fuel lines
stock fuel rail
stock FPR
ultragate 38
greddy type-s bov
IP 600hp IC
stock TB/IM
battery in truck
AC
stock block/head
2mm HG
fullblown manual boost controller
93oct @ 14psi - just under 400hp with a slight boost leak during dyno time.

I sure would like to put that nice turbo to use, but the fuel and manifold are holding me back. At the same time, I can't afford to go all out and do rear end/tranny bulletproofing, so im not looking for massive numbers. I would also like to keep AC and minimize the effect on modifying the charge piping and exhaust. This car is only used for weekend cruising and what not. So with that said, here is what I have in mind. Let me know what you think.

E85
ID1000's
(Fuel pressure regulator going to be needed?)
Forged Performance ram horn mani (loving the price) http://www.trackforged.com/products/s2000Manifold.php
keep AC
minor charge pipe/exhaust work
keep 38mm wg
have LJ @ fullblown do his magic!

I'm not looking to reach any specific power. Prefer a fat powerband over some outragous peaky thing. Like I said, I just drive it around and have some fun. No launching of course. No road/circuit racing. I was also considering the Pfab elt mani and the Fullrace prostreet. I still need to find out what Fullblown has to offer.

Would anyone vote for a sidewinder instead? keeping in mind modifications needed and cost. Another manifold not mentioned be a better choice?

the forged manifold ramhorn wont fit with your turbo, i have a 6262 with that manifold and had to cut the frame a lot,and this manifold very tend to creep, i had to put a 66mm precision wastegate to have a great boost control

ive already massacred the frame to fit it in with the IP log. lol.

does anyone else have boost creep issues with forged mani? im leaning towards the forged or pfab one.

japancrx, how is your powerband and numbers? happy with the mani?

trying to see what fabworx has but their site is down. fullblown doesnt show much on their site regarding manifolds, guess ill call them.

Go Sidewinder! If you go ramhorn you will make less power and have a slower spool time than a Sidewinder manifold. You don't have to relocate AC with a Sidewinder and you don't have to notch the frame. Full race, InlinePro, and kings performance all make a good Sidewinder.

Sorry RedlineS2K, i already have ID1000's sitting in the garage patiently waiting to be installed.

Now you guys have me really considering a sidewinder. How about Synapse's sidewinder for 900 bucks?

Am i going to need anything larger than my 38mm WG i have already?

Yes you will need at least a 44mm wastegate, but you will need that regardless. S2000's boost creep a lot.

If u want a fat power band ditch that turbo for something else.

Manis look at
Full blown sidewinder
Ip stage 2 sidewinder

But all t4 flange.

Switch ur turbo to 6262
Go 44 wastegate

Make 500 on e85 or 425-450 pump.

Look at Mani Siadam runs. Top mount t3 flange tubular. Run a 5857 on that and make a real fat powerband.

I think I may just get something from Fullblown. Those guys have been top notch and came through for me in the past. They don't show what mani's they have on their website. ill look around here for them.
