Default It was tct.. :)

I am wondering if rod knock comes and goes. Meaning if the car is cold its ticking loud but when warmed up the noise subsidize. Also can it start when your car is slowing down to a stop? I noticed my car making a loud ticking noise when I pulled into the store, however it would come and go. I think it maybe tct, but it was pretty loud. I am currently getting my tct fixed and hopefully thats the trick.
I did check my plugs and they looked good except for one which was a bit blacker than the rest. The one thing that was off was that the plugs were pretty loose. I won't know for sure if the tct will fix it but I wanted just to know what you all thought it can be.
My car was low .5 qt of oil the other day but I filled it up. The car seems to idle fine too.

Could be engine rebuild time which could be fun

thanks for the help

That is a bad TCT IMO. Mine was exactly the same when I had TCT problems two years ago. It was really noticable at lower RPM and when coming to a stop etc..It would also come and go often..
Pull the TCT, sandblast the tensioner, clean, repin and re install. If you use Mobil 1 oil I highly recommend you switch to at least the European blend 0W40 or some other oil like redline etc which contains ZDDP.

well kev you were right it was tct. It started ticking a little when I first started car but then it went away and has not come back yet. I do hear a little ticking but I think that maybe the valves. Now I have to figure out why I am getting some smoke out of my exhaust seems like we our problems coincides with each others lol

Yeah its ball bearing, The smoke is just enough where I can see it, but it dissipates pretty quickly. So not too bad.

i am sure it can, not 100% sure. The way my car sounded it seemed like it was damaged. I am sure if the timing chain gets messed up it can cause some problems

I don't believe there is a report of an engine failure caused by a bad TCT as of yet (could be wrong though).
