Yes, I just read a thread about it the other day (came up easy with some searching).

Seems some of the parts are in the way to remove the old one and insert the new one. The poster recommended doing it at the same time as an oil change from below while the oil filter is out of the way.

Hi,

Has anyone actually done this running CTSC+AC?, i think mine 'maybe' on the way out. As above the guy says someone changed the TCT when changing the oil filter from underneath? - i need to change my oil in a month or so, so would it be easier?

Anyone kind enough who's done it to give me a run down of how to and what to remove etc?

Cheers

tct is just a few bolts, very simple. however, with the SC in place, there is an access hole you need to get into to pull the pin off the TCT to allow the spring/pistol to push forwards... this on the other hand could be quite a uhm... pain in the @$$ for you? id look from the bottom and see if you can get to it.

Super easy with the CTSC, all you need is a good pair of 90 degree needle nose pliers and you should be able to pop the pin right out. Just make sure you line the pin up facing up so you can get an easy grip on it through the service hole. Ive done it numerous times and I timed my self with a stop watch last time and did it in just under 5 minutes!

You don't need to use the inspection hole and don't need 90 degree plyers.
