Exclamation Test pipe mkaing it more rich at idle?

Test pipe is awesome, boost gained to .5 PSI to 6 now. Kind of a crazy cool noise but anytime I hit it up 9k RPM and just not shift, I get backfire. doesn't happen when I shift only when I hit 9k and just dont do anything.

This means excess fuel vapors are getting into exhaust. So basically when I let off accelrator then the engine returns to idle which is running more rich and pop

No leaks as I checked twice on all cat exhaust.

I might dyno her next week and hopefully will be up to 290s from 276 rwhp without the test pipe.

Backfire on F.I. cars is not unusual. Now that you have a t.pipe, you have reduced the back pressure even further. Low or no back pressure enhances backfire conditions. This does not mean you are running rich. You are interpretting things the wrong way.

You are hitting the rev limiter. The backfire is normal. You want to hear backfire, try a 2 stage rev limiter with the AEM EMS.
