Default test pipe/strait pipe

I have a sc'ed s2k with comptech header and skunk 2 exhaust, right now I have the stock cat in there and I'm trying to decide what route to take as far as a test pipe,or strait pipe goes, any sugestions on certain designs?

get a tp/straight pipe. it will sound sick, you will get way better throttle response, and more power because you're boosted. but you will need a retune as the tp might cause you to run dangerously lean.

Buy the Berk high-flow cat instead. Your car will always smell like gasoline.... and thats a bad thing 99% of the time.

Its like a two foot piece of straight pipe you can't really screw it up haha =] they're all good.

I'm deciding between this cat delete:
Large diameter 63.5mm piping (2.5in), full 304SS, & built in CEL fix. Includes new gasket & hardware. 06-07 S2000 with drive by wire have high incidents of CEL. 00-05 S2000's are 98% CEL free.

and the hfc
"Our test data shows that this cat flows 87% as well as a test pipe vs. 43% for the OEM Cat. Smog legal, high flow, no test pipe smell. You can have the best of both worlds."

I run a straight pipe with a rich tune..... never smells like gas, never really heard anyone say that to me unless they were following behind me with the top down, and even then they said its LIGHT and only SOMETIMES.

Even just standing around my car at idle I dont smell anything really, on startup I get a light whiff, but thats all, I've never smelled it from inside the car at all. I love the TP.

In general Honda engines burn clean I believe, perhaps this helps the lack of smell when running a TP.
