Nice. I would get a single exhaust cap for that rear bumper asap. Horrible man! Just horrible!

^ It all has to do with exhaust speed vs. volume. More restrictive down the pipeline a bit speeds up the exhaust, creating a bit of a scavenging effect on piping leading up to it (that is not moving as quickly). It would work great if there is no major turbulence in the exhaust path to create back pressure... at least it makes sense to me that it would work as long as you were not building positive pressure due to the reduction in piping size (that is you are not moving more air than the 3" exhaust can handle... anything under 600hp, and even more now that Mase has started with his stock compression beasts! That thing I think is running an open 2.5" DP).

from what i've read, scavenging is useless on a turbo car. The exhaust pulses from each cylinder counts more for you preturbo with the type of manifold you buy (tubular, equal lenght). You just want the least amount of back pressure post turbo as possible!

What I meant to say was I think it creates a bit of a vacuum at the exhaust housing (where the thicker piping is located). Not necessarily a cylinder scavenging effect... As the exhaust speeds up downstream, it would "suck" the slower moving air away from the turbo, right? I may be confused... definitely NOT an engineer.

i dont see how going to smaller pipe would flow better than keeping the pipe the same diameter

Thanks for the kind words guys. I like what InlinePRO has done with their "street monster", retaining the stock look. That's what I've been going for.

Looks great! Don't forget to change your brake fluid, it looks pretty dark. Wouldn't want any surprises when you're trying to stop with 400+ whp

It's supposed to be dark.
