Default is there such a thing as too big?

I'm doing a turbo kit with a gt1 header, 4" downpipe, and a built engine. I have a precision turbo with a A/R .81 exhaust housing, and a CCH71 compressor housing. is this too big? it's not an everyday driver, but will probably get ran every weekend.
I know there will be quite a bit of lag, but is there a more efficient size turbo to make 700-750 hp on? would it be somewhat cost efficient?
also, to build boost as fast as possible but flow efficiently, what size charge pipes would be best for this setup?

i'm looking for advice from people who know and/or have had the same questions and found out, so thanks ahead of time to the great guys out there willing to help.

I'll have build pics up as soon as i start(=

I'm not too sure how big that turbo is but if its like a 76 trim, that's way too laggy I would think. The precision 6262 would be perfect and good for 800 whp and full boost by around 5300 rpm.

You have a Precision 71mm turbo? Damn, thats WAY overkill. The 6262 or 6765 would be much better options.

how streetable is a 6765? this will be a street legal car, not just for drags.

how much hp is the 6262 good till?
