Default Think I could do this gauge cup?

I am doing a turbo setup with a serial gauge from AEM. I'm really really trying to avoid a gauge pod and would prefer not to cut my dash either. My thought is can I sneak one of these on the steering column with the gauge there? I know it's a tight fit but I think it would really help my cause of keeping the car visually quiet while still keeping the gauge in plain sight.

Has anyone done this or attempted and failed? Thanks!

i had two of those(boost and a/f) in my accord before, it was a very good spot since it's close to the cluster and the piece is relatively cheap(32 buck for my accord) vs side sill(what's the name of the thing? pillar mount?) or dash mount(thousand of dollar)

another thing you can do is have it suchion cup mounted in the windshield, it leaves no hole, or things to cut(only you have to fish the wires thru the front vent.
it's very stable and will not fall off. it's a series of two or three cup in two screw in suchion cups by the side(not the toy stuff, the industrial strength cups)
