Thinking of ditching Kpro...ID2000s idle issues
The main reason I went with kpro was for emissions. Things have changed, and emissions are no longer my number one priority out of an EMS. I am tired of my idle issues with ID2000s. My car stalls randomly, gets weird isolations, high idle, and the car is not great at recovering from throttle blips. Has anyone been able to get theirs to run really well? The car ran great with 1000s even with the recalled 1600s. Just not having any luck with the 2000s.
Now my other S2000 has a AEM Series 2 in it, with RC750s. Thinking of maybe swapping swapping the kpro into that car along with my spare ID1000s. I need more control with the ID2000s so the AEM will be perfect for that. I also know kpro with ID1000s was a perfect combination. My other option is to sell off the Kpro, and do a Haltech EMS. Just keep the AEM series 2 and switch out the RCs for my spare IDs.
What do you guys think would be the best option? Really leaning towards keeping the AEM in my supercharged car and ditching the Kpro in my Turbo car for the Haltech. Unless I can get the ID2000s to run better with kpro. I would much rather leave things alone.

I had induction performance look at my Kpro map with ID 2000. They were able to reduce the idle down to 1050 RPM and sort out all the oscillation issues with the tune at idle. I suggest you give those folks a pm to discuss.
Evans etune maybe an option also.

I have been working with Jeff Evans and have purchased a Haltech Pro Plug that I will be integrating the GM Flex Fuel Sensor. It has been a while now but I put up many posts about the lack of options for the S2000 w/o stepping up to a Motec or other high end ECU. I think the new AEM Infinity will be good but I am not going to be the beta tester, best case scerio there is (2) years.
For fueling I am going to start with ID1000's and a 340LPH pump but I am also looking for a good injector around 1500cc/min but have not been able to find one. If nothing comes available soon I will probably step up to a secondary set of injectors but this will be only a last resort. Jeff however has had good luck with (2) parallel Bosch 044's at 90-100 PSI and hit 600WHP so it may work.
I can't remember if you have already converted to a return system but this will probably be nessacary to make any changes.
Much easier said than done when you are working with limited resources. Personally I see the KPRO and Flash Pro as a fancy piggy back. Really they are not feature rich like a standalone but I can't deny that the Flash Pro in particular is the best option for many if not most people.

OP: Good luck sorting this out!
I'm not blaming the injectors in any way. Would like to see if anyone is satisfied with running 2000s and kpro. I just want as oem feel as possible. I don't have a problem pulling the kpro and selling it. How do the 2000s run with Haltech or AEM. I know it will be better but how much better. I'm really particular.
