Default tial bov and comptech.

please lets not make this a discusion/debate on pros/cons of atomospheric blow off valves on s/c's.

i've read all night about it, and feel its worth it.

now...

can a stock 04-05 comptech kit blow off with a tial?
is it too strong of a spring?
from what i've heard, they are only good in high-boost applications.
can anyone verify this?

also- whats the stock psi on an 04-05 kit?

The Tial is not going to give you the sound you are looking for.

Remember that the BOV is going to be open at cruising speed and only shut when you give it throttle. If it does not remain open then you have the adjustment too tight.

I've personally ran the Godzilla BOV and it is very nice... LOUD and a big Wooosh...

I switched to the Greddy type S with a fabricated adapter that sounded even better IMO.. It gave me the Woooopiiiish sound that I wanted and was not as loud at cruising speed as the Godzilla.

Others have tried the HKS Supersequential but it sounded like a gobbling turkey.

Do a search for BOV and you will find a lot of information on the CTSC kits and which BOV people are running.

I recommend either the Gozilla, Greddy type S (if you can still find one) or the Greddy RS.

If you already have the greddy one available, I would just go with that (you will need to have a flange welded on with either option)
