Default TiAL housings for Borg Warner turbos

As anyone who has used a BW turbo knows, the standard turbine housings are larger and heavier than similar Garrett, PTE, Turbonetics, etc... housings. Most of the OE housings are T4 and T6 frame, which makes them a little tricky for tighter engine bays.

TiAL is now making cast stainless housings for BW turbos with V band inlet and outlet flanges. They started with the S400SX series, and they save 12+lbs compared with the cast iron housings. Now, they will also be available for the S300SX and S200SX turbos. These should save approx 8lbs compared with the traditional housings but will also be more compact the easier to fit.

The S300SX housings will be available ~2 weeks, and the S200SX housings in ~5 weeks. I dont have the official pricing just yet, but Im happy to relay the information when I have it.

Well this is great news for someone who wants a Borg and hasn't already welded a t3 flange to their manifold -_-

Awesome. The tial housing is a great idea for any turbo. Easier, cleaner, way lighter. And with the correctly designed manifold, works very very well.

That is beyond great news. Would much rather have a BW over a Precision.

Definitely. The smaller BW turbos will be bolt on for manifold/downpipe combinations designed for the 30R and 35R TiAL housings.

Depends which variant of the S200 turbine wheel you have (there are a few).
