Timing issues
So previous to starting my car when I timed my car I set it dead on but when I spun the crank and went back to tdc the cams were a 1/2 tooth to a tooth off. I cranked it multiple times by hand no valves hit so I just chalked it up to since the block was decked and head was milled just to clean them up that that's what through off the marks. When I cranked it yesterday I noticed the aem read timing error. The valves didn't hit since it was minor but I figured that it's obviously slightly off. Ill post a picture tomorrow of the cams and see what you guys think. I'm getting an etune from Evans so I can break in the clutch and motor then drive it to him but want everything 100% before I fire it up on the etune. Just for for thought figured I'd share
This is how i had it set when i put the motor back together about a month ago.
This is how it looked after after i spun the crank 2 full rotations back to tdc. I talked to many people and they said its very likely the milling through off the stock timing marks. I only had the car running for a minute or 2 the other day but it didnt really sound like it was missing please tell me what you guys think.

You're timing looks to be good man. Look at your right mark on the idler gear, it's up slightly from the top of the head. Turn it slightly to the right to bring it more in line to where it need to be and your cam timing marks will line up better.
Thanks spoolin I'm just trying to figure how it' changed though after I cranked it cause I know the chain didn't jump. If you look in the original pic the idler lines were perfect but I should try and pull off the tensioner and turn it slightly it sucks cause I'll have to pull off the downpipe I get the tensioner off but it's worth it. Any other thoughts
Cam timing looks fine, though cant be sure without seeing the crank pulley. The AEM throws a code if you have decked the block and head or if you have installed a thick head gasket on a stock block. As for the the cam timing changing where it lined up, the tensioner may have removed more slack once the engine had reached a few hundred or thousand rpm. Provided the crank pulley is aligned.
