Default Blew up a motor

so i blew my motor in my s this past weekend ): droped a valve did some major damage! the head is trash but the block can be saved. was wondering if it would be cheaper just to rebuild my block and get a new head or just get a used motor? any ideas would be helpful. thanks

Wow, are you sure the block can be saved? check the walls, with that amount of damage to the heads im suprised the block can be saved without a resleeve or something

It might be best to just get a used block. Just my 2cents. Make suer its running properly before you pop for it though.

If you dont mind waiting, Im sure a wrecked one will show up at a junk yard, but if youre in need of it soon, Im sure tis going to run you a couple G's...

I didnt think you could hone our cylinder walls because of the carbon reinforcing. But I could be wrong.

that block is finished without a resleeve. Similar damage happened to me when a retainer dropped at 7500rpms. If you aren't looking to boost or some crazy n/a setup, a simple drop in motor would be cheaper.
