Default tires for turbo

i bought some rims that came with some very small tires 205/40 17"s anyone have any suggestions on the right tire sizes and brands that would look and fit right?,, would like street slicks for the back would b awsome if you guys could share some pics asle my car has H&R springs not exactly sure how much drop they give

do you happen to know the offset of the rims?

245/40/17 on the rear will fit
255/40/17 may require some fender work depending how low you are

nitto nt01 would be a good choice in tire if you want those sizes and its a street drag radial... pretty sticky!

try the tire section though dude, probably get a better answer there.

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's all day. I have the RE-01R which were the older version of these and I start to break traction in 3rd right around 500whp in 75 deg weather.

275 RA1 here. R comp FTW. with my power i can floor it in first no problem

basically, you have two choices:
1. run a sticky tire and be able to get on the gas sooner
2. run a regular tire, run boost by gear and get on teh gas later.

i think its dumb to make serious power, then run regular tires and lower the power in the first 2-3 gears. bleh to that!
