Default top speed for every gear is lower with Comptech SC

hello guys, i have my comptech SC for my MY04. the top speed for every gear seems to be lower than without SC. for example, the second gear with SC is about 92km/h, it was 96km/h without SC before. the fifth gear is 186km/h with SC, it was around 200km/h before. i am sure i redline with time. so what is the problem? do u guys have the same experience?

another problem i found is sometimes when i floor the gas, say about 6000-7000 rpm, the car likes it hit the redline and suddenly stopped. i found this happend with second gear and sixth gear, what is the problem?

please share your experince with me, thank u guys!!!

The engine is winding up so fast the speedometer lag is greater and you have shifted and are on your way before the speedo can catch up. Don't fret and worry about stuff like that and enjoy the car.

Does this happen even after the car has warmed up?

in 6th gear, it's probably a slipping clutch.
in 2nd, it's probably loosing traction and running straight to the rev limiter. Or the clutch could be slipping as well.
my room mate has this problem 1st and 2nd with a vortech S/C'd Si. Once traction is lost, that rev limiter comes really quick.

I'm not sure it's a clutch, but I could be wrong. I'd check all the wiring again and all the vaccum hoses just to be safe.
