low 400whp my car was making when i ran 11.9. I held the rpms around 3k, and just feathered the clutch out once the clutch is fully out go WOT. I was able to get 1.9 60' doing this method. I know its not good for the clutch but id rather do that then blow my diff. I was also giving a little off the gas in high rpms first and 2nd as my tires broke loose. When you are at the line you should have the clutch pedal up to the point where it is about to engage. I have my clutch engaging and hold the ebrake to insure i dont break anything in the drivechain. Its called preloading which is near impossible to break something if done properly.

might be a dumb question but once you let go of the ebrake to start moving since you were already off the clutch are you already in boost?

here is a video of my car... I was holding rpms around 3k and feathered out. there is a slight bog but its the only way to really be safe. Id rather not blow anything then get a good time. So i take the safe and deacent route which gives me 1.9 60 foot which is kinda respectable.

what power do u make rob, 400 what? how much tq?

Hold the pedal to the floor, you will hear a popping noise. thats ok, just the rev limiter. when the green light drops, dump the cluth and hold on........lol

MAn just play with your launch unitl you find what you like and what works best for you. With that amount of HP, you can break something just doing simple shifts. just go for it, trap speeds mean nothing, Time is everything

car makes 496whp 300tq on 19 psi. i was running around 16psi at the track if i remember correctly. So i would assume low 400's. My numbers are also on a dynapack which tends to read higher then what it really is. So i think its safe to say i was making a max of 410-415whp when i was running those times. I was also on a crappy 255 all season tire.

How much HP/TQ would stock tranny and diff handle?

the diff will not handle much power at all. but the tranny is more of a TQ issue. When you put 400 tq to it it will go. i make 285 and mine is doing fine. it needs new syncronizers due to the flat-on-the floor shifting i do at the track, but its good other than that
