when you launched on race gas on the 2step did you feather the clutch out or just dump it?

Are you running a built motor?

2Step on a stock engine is very dangerous, you risk dropping a valve as the stock springs can't take the ignition cut shock that the 2step causes.

what is a 2 step?
2-step is rev-limiter for launch control, usually done with the AEM EMS (or MSD box, etc.) that pulls ignition timing and sets a RPM for launch. It allows you to build some boost at the line so you can leave with the turbo near or fully spooled up. The key is not to go too low and bog or go too high and break stuff or spin badly.

The AEM EMS 2-step is nice and it is tied into the vehicle speed sensor so it's only armed below a set mph, like 2-3.

damn i went 11.9 on 400whp, stock diff, 2.0 60ft
if you plan on drag racing the car get the inline pro rear end conversion, def worth the money and you won't have to worry about breaking any axles
