Default tunes on 91 octane?

Greetings all,
So lately i've been stuck on if I want to run E85 or good ol So Cal 91 octane fuel. I was trying to find what kind of power people make on pump, but everything I see is on 93 octane, which we don't have. Was wanting to see some setups/power out of 91.

Thanks,
Alex

Stock compression, stock engine besides valvetrain.

I think your 91 will yield less power than the E-85 by far but I've also heard that the E-85 has inconsistent mixtures unless you buy it in bulk out of the same batch. Maybe I've been misled on the E-85 deal so if I have set me straight!

you are right, it varies a lot more in blend/quality from batch to batch than pump

that being said, i haven't read of any problems due to that

I made 423/261 on 13psi with a Mase kit and 91 gas with ethanol mix. I forgot to fill up on good 91 or 93. I run both 91 and 93 in it now though depending on what's available

I'll probably get flamed for this...but here's my most recent (11 days ago) dyno sheet. This was first WOT pull. I think we hit 535hp/355tq on the best pull, but I was running out of fuel on the top end.

2004 S2K
91 octane - standard correction factor (I'm in Denver, no I didn't look at the uncorrected numbers)
Full-Race GT35R turbo kit
ID1000cc's
Hondata K-Pro
stock bottom end
Alaniz PnP head

Check out Worldwideracingfuels.com . They are in VA and will make whatever mixture you want including ethanol with pump gas and with race fuels.

you can make probably from 50%-100% more power on e85. e85 is the same to about 110 octane which is usually good enough to max out your turbo as long as your engine/clutch is strong enough to take it.

on my s2000 i make about 330whp with my ball bearing 50trim. on e85 or race gas you canmax out the turbo to about 500whp.

on my evo i make about 400whp on 91 octane with a full race twinscrool HTA gt35r kit, but with e85 you can max out the turbo to about 700awhp
