Tuning
I think having someone professionally install everything would be the best bet, but how do I find someone I trust. Anyone know of a website I can look up credible tuners in a specific region?

It might be safe, but it's not tuned. Without some aftermarket tuning device your entire tuning method is to twist the screw on the FPR. You have a bit more control with a V-AFC but it's still a bit of a fudge.
Anything more than the stock Comptech pulley and I would want at least an E-manage.

Yes, but look at his first post (and the subsequent ones). I've interpretted his title as meaning how to eliminate the problems he came up with when he modified his car further. He may have used the term "tuning with VAFC", but I think he just wants to know how to get rid of the problems that came up. My first answer was in reply to his question about whether or not his 7# pulley could be added and tuned AS IS (I interpret that as "can it be made to work without the problems?"). My answer was "yes". I may be wrong, but I believe he just wants the thing to get rid of the CEL and to stop running rich/lean. I don't think he really wants to "tune" it in the real sense of the word. He's trying to resolve problems now and not so much as to "tune" for max HP.
Actually from reading his post it sounds like he's assuming that he's running rich from having a gasoline smell after installing his test pipe.
If that's the case, he should leave it alone. When you put in a test pipe and eliminate the CAT, your going to get a gas smell. Its not because its running to rich, its because you don't have a CAT. You want the smell to go away, put the CAT back on.

How have you made this determination and what kinds of a/f numbers are you getting?

If it's purely by smell and not from instrumentation, then I agree, leave it alone till you know for sure.
Thanks everyone. As you can see my repley to Xviper's question I am only guessing it's running rich from the smell, but I'm sure I could be wrong until I have it tested. However I do want to "Tune" the car to maximize it's potential using a simple system like the VAFC I bought. My concern is I don't know if I can use that along with the O2 simulator and Supercharger. Anyone know if that will work and if it's a good setup without buying a confusing EMS.
Thanks

The test pipe and 02 simulator won't affect tuning with the V-AFC. I don't usually recommend taking a $30K car with a $5K SC and tuning it with a $300 fudge device liek the V-AFC but for fine tuning it should be ok if done correctly.
Contrary to Silver's statement it's not a "very good set up". It's a cheap set up that might just work ok. IMNSHO.

My biggest problem is I can't find any good tuner's in my area. I live in Northeast Ohio if anyone knows of someone that can help me out. I would appreciated a trustworthy contact.
