What does the 18G greedy turbo compare to??

Looking at only the compressor sides it is a mixed story..

Over all it is very similar to the 2871.
For the 300 mark below 7000 the 2871 has higher eff then the 18G above 7000 they are even matched.

For the 330 mark 2871 is much better then the 18G but the 3071 is even better in the higher RPS

What is interesting after putting them all side by side is the 18G has comparable efficiency numbers to that of the 3071 at 8k and 9k

if you're on the street, the smallest turbo that you can reach your goals with while having cold IAT's is the perfect turbo.

Why would anybody that has a goal of 300whp want a turbo that supports 500whp...

Ever see a factory car with a turbo that will support 66% more power then it makes from the factory? I haven't

Evo 9s are putting down 400 wheel horsepower up from about 230 from the factory.

That's 70% more power than from the factory.

Here's one example

I have seen many dyno graphs of that turbo producing 350whp with ice cold IAT's and on far less efficient (I assume) then an f20.
at what pr?

on the average it takes the same amount of CFM or lb/min to make X HP on a 4 cycle piston engine.

1.67CFM=1hp is the accepted norm

Since the S is so efficient that number changes to around 1.54cfm=1hp

again the key thing we are not considering here is the effects the turbine has on the end power.

you cant go wrong with either it 2871 or the 3071 for the power levels you are looking for.
