Default Turbo boost spiking

I have a Greddy kit for AP2 08. I'm having some boost spiking. How can i fix this.

I have straight pipe, Greddy ti-c exhaust.

You just noticed this and you live in cold weather?

Unfortunately you have to much flow for this turbo kit. Put your stock cat back on or you can do some porting.

what kinda of porting are you talking about? Hi-flow cat be ok.

thier talking about porting the wastegate, it helps calm the boost creep. i personaly have not done this yet but i bought a berk hfc and greddy ti-c and it only creeps to 9psi, (still on factory boost) but thier are many topics on here about the greddy kit being notorious for boost creep

The kit was designed to pass smog thats why Greddy recommends using the OEM cat however you can also run a HFC but you'll still run into boost creep issues when its cold out.
