Default turbo buildup, some issues

hey guys, new to the forum.. ive tried the search key but cant come up with any legitimate answer to whats going wrong here...

ive been building up a turbo s2000 for a few months, its a hybrid greddy/inline pro kit with a inline pro hotside and greddy intercooler, emanage ultimate.. rc750s ect

the car is strong and makes 380whp on the dynapack dyno at 13psi.. but im having trouble with some sort of missfire/breakup ect around 6-6700 rpms.. any suggestions?? anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.. the car is running on the stock map sensor in its stock location with a greddy pressure sensor.

The stock map can only read up to 12 PSI but b/c it starts to breakup about 11PSI I would not go over 10.5-11PSI.

Not sure if this is your problem b/c you gave so little info but you should not this.

does anybody have a definitive answer if you need the greddy map relocation kit if you are using the map clamp or not? there was one time on the dyno when vtec did not engage because the car was not warmed up enough and this did not happen and boost was not erratic.. still made the same power

Yes you still need a clamp.

Like I was saying before, without logs, more info on your setup there is no way to tell what is happening.

I will try to get my hands on a xp laptop and save some logs on the street tonight.. It seems that the car is pulling timing bad once vtec engages then fixes itself around 7k and pulls as normal to redline.. Is the synape missing link a good idea considering I do not have the greddy relocation kit for the map sensor?

It sounds like your vtec engagement is set too low for your manifold. I'm assuming you have a log? If so, try raising your vtec engagement to around 7000 to see if it clears up. If it gets better at 7000 rpm engagement, just move it around a bit until its running perfect. Try lowering it a bit to say, 6900 rpm and see how it does. If its still breaking up there, go back to 7000 rpm and if its not completely perfect there, go to 7100 rpm. Just play around with it until its perfect.

When I had my inline pro log mani my tuner actually turned vtec up 500 rpms instead of down. Have you checked your spark plugs? I had a misfire at 6600 and it ended up being a bad ground.
