Which turbo gasket are you using?

Default Which turbo gasket are you using?

I need a T3 gasket to go between the turbo and manifold... A copper gasket was recommended to me.

What are you guys using?

Where did you buy it?

Which one do you recommend?

Do you recommend replacing the bolts while I'm at it?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I havent finished my turbo project yet, but copper is the best gasket you can use, also for wastegate to manifold copper is highly recommended by everyone, I guess the copper is less likely to leak because it flexes a little!
Not sure about replacing bolts though, Hope I was some help.

maybe that's another thing wrong with your car cause all the kits come with gaskets Joey. LOL

To the OP I think any gasket will really do weather it be copper or a stainless one although I have seen the stainless one fail. Maybe your on to something with getting copper, although i havent seen em.

Also, everyone on here is probably doing the same thing as me, having a drink, going to eat dinner and hopefully getting some from a lady. I had my desert first tonight.

I never use gaskets for turbo to manifold, just metal to metal with a little bit of copper rtv. That has never failed me before. As long as the two surfaces are not warped at all it will be prefectly fine.
