Default Turbo Heat shield/jacket question

Thinking about purchasing this:

http://www.heatshieldproducts.com/turbo_heat_shield.php

Have done various searchs and they all throw up the same agreement that having the turbo shield on is a good thing... But I am wondering won't it retain/raise heat within the exhaust housing a be bad thing cause heat has no where to escape??
what do you all think

Nothing wrong with those at all, it won't damage the turbo, doesn't have to be watercooled. The heat escapes through the downpipe, which is what you want. Never used that brand though. We have some nice ones on our site that have proven to hold up over time and fit really nice.
