Cool Turbo Kit is IN and Running... PICS

Well like the title says I recently bought a UR kit... I installed it at a easy pace in about two weekends, the install was pretty easy actually because it had instructions ... anyway is nothing special like you see in other threads, kits making 450+whp.... this is my first turbo'ed car so I was planning on running to start about 7psi so this kit was perfect for me... I'm still kinda nervous about everything... So I'm really not enjoying it yet I'm paranoid, any rocks hitting the bottom of the car I feel is bolts and nuts flying from my engine , I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that felt this kind of things on their first time... the only big problem that I run into was the e-manage not connecting the PC or the Car and not having a Good Base map or a Tuner near by...But luckily a Very helpful Member " Toeur " Helped me and got me up and running with safe a/f ratios (10.5 to 11 @ WOT and 14.5 @ idle and at part throttle also idling like stock) while I get on the dyno to lean it up a lil bit...So I actually want to thank everybody that helped me and is helping me to make possible specially Toeur ...I never thought I was was going to say.... I NEED A FI BADGE ... I still got a Ton of questions about all this, so I'll be posting them as they come ...here is some pics of the install... I'll post some vids later when I get a chance...

Very Nice. I am a big fan of this kit, makes very nice power from 5k up.. Only thing i would point out to you is to not use a T directly into the block for the oil feed and pressure sensor. These have been known to cause issues in the past.

And keep an eye on your motor mount with all the heat from the down pipe and turbo, This started to fail on Reborn56's old car after 15k I believe

Welcome to the FI family!!!

Good luck with everything. How are you anticipating the e-manage affecting emissions testing in NC?

Yea dude heat wrap that down pipe, my ultimate racing Gen II kit was good but my motor mount was cracked already. And the only way i found out was my car got totaled and i sold the engine and only after that the motor mounts were gonna sell to someone who was having the same problem on the same side of the motor and vwala we discovered the motor mount was cracked for the same reason.
So i would strongly recommend heat wraping the down pipe.
Also if you ever plan on uping the boost i made 384 whp with my stock exhaust with that kit.
All i did was install a Inline pro HG and upgrade my injectors to 750cc
Enjoy your newly found power.
for my old turbo kit
