Default Turbo lag between shifts

Got a ap1 w/3mm HG.

lovefab mini-me w/ gt35r 0.82 a/r.

Boosting around 16psi.

Between shifts, I feel like the turbo needs a second before it starts pulling again. I'm shifting @ 9000rpm and shifting as fast as i can.

Is this normal with a gt35r?

I would talk to your tuner and see if the air/fuel is jumping around during those times... That will cause your lag issue. I think the gt35r spools pretty quickly and doesn't have too much lag time! Just my. $.02

Yea your going to probably want to flat shift to get rid of the lag, but be careful your trans isn't going to like a lot of it!

I have the JB 6262 and shift quick enough that I have no lag issues between shifts at all. I mean, you cant even tell I'm shifting because the power feels like its pulling hard through all shifts. Even with my old 60-1 JB I didnt have any issues. You may not be shifting as fast as you think you are.

I had no issues with any of my turbo's also. Really the only turbo car I had and complianed about was my wifes STI.

Are you sure your BOV is working correctly?

Have you setup the antilag function in the EMS?

I dont think its your BOV, Tial is pretty much the best out there. I think it may just be that youre not shifting as fast as you think.

Maybe not. But I shift as least as fast as I did in my modded mr2 turbo......

And I didn't have any lag between shifts there.
