turbo noise after shut off
i have my turbo s2k up and running. i have been idling it and just driving no more then 10mph around my neighborhood just to check and make sure everything is operating properly. even after i let it warm up completely i don't get any heat from the vents.
also when i turn the car off i hear the turbo turning, kinda like its winding down. is this normal? any help would be much appreciated. i am getting the car tuned on april 10th and would like to get these hopefully minor things sorted beforehand.

I dont know about the noise, but I also got no heat out of the vents when I first installed my turbo and the cause was I had forgotten to bleed the cooling system afterwards. If you didnt do that then you probably have air pockets in the system.
You are right, there is a rubber plug on the aluminum tube on the fire wall by the back of the valve cover that you have to bleed to get the system up and running again. Pull the plug and turn your heater and fan on high and let the system bleed with the engine running.
There's also a second bleed valve, near the front of the valve cover, on the driver's side, to the best of my recollection. There is a coolant flush DIY thread on here somewhere with pics of their locations.

yes i have the hondata gasket installed. as for the turbo noise, i would expect it to take a little while to stop after being under boost but the thing is i was not boosting at all. i was staying under 2000 rpm the whole time. i know its still spinning even when not in boost. i was just curious as this is my first non factory turbo vehicle
thanks guys, i bled the system and i am getting heat now. i have noticed with the modifry coolant gauge fix that all the bars are lit up upon initial start up and then they go down as it heats up. i am monitoring the coolant temp with an aem serial gauge and it never goes over 218 F. maybe it has something to do with the ground loop thing they talk about in the instructions.
i also notice that on the ect fix "box" that there is a button next to a blinking led. what is this for?
