Gentlemen, gentlemen please. Lets calm down and take a few steps back here. Its like mommy and daddy are yelling at each other and the rest of s2ki is the little child in the middle starting to cry.

They both have their ups and downs. You've both presented good points for either side. Which one you choose is a matter of preference.

Me, I bought a cheap(er) baffled/vented can on eBay.

Does these open system smell?

Still running the stock PCV.

Tried venting the PCV to air, tube running down to the side of the engine and was getting rotten smell after boost.

Put the PCV back and all was good.
