Those were just a couple mock ups for me to drool over. Heat shield, end tank inlets, IC anodized black, are just a few things missing from the pick. Thanks for watching my back though. I have seen what they do and have been impressed with the finished product.

^ if that is the case then I suggest you should get better end tanks that direct the internal aiflow better. Those square endtanks create more turbulence inside and more drag outside.

Honda9krpm,

Nice observation. I am sure with the intercooler not finished yet and not knowing what the intercooler end tanks look on the other side I am going to trust Full-Race in their work. The turbo system Geoff did in the beginning on the white one from their website paved the way to one of the first 500+ S2k's and the car is still running stong today. As a matter of a fact I saw it last weekend. However with all observations I ask them questions why they did what they did anyway because I appreciate fellow S2ker's input and hey you never know. Thanks

P.S. For some reason I see lots of intercoolers both in the mags and on friends cars that look identical to that. The last car was a 375hp civic. I got the video link if anyone is intersted in the pull.

Problems. In my world there is never problems. I WISH. I always expect the inevitable. The worst that is. :-) I hope all goes well but hey I have seen good S2k's and bad S2k's when it comes to boost. Thanks things are going great so far.

I called full race yesterday and they said that its only a couple more weeks until they have their bolt on kit ready to sell. Said there was a lot of fabrication work with the old one they had.

Ok,

Results on end tank being square research. First off the intercooler works because of the turbulence it creates to cool the air temp and none of the tuners that I have talked with have found no extra lag, boost pressure drop, or anything else they could have thought of to substantiate the claim.. Sorry but thats the facts unless proven otherwise.

the square end tanks should not affect peak power much but is not very good at directing air flow across the engine rev and causes a number of problem

here are some of the cons from the land down under

Honda9krpm,

Interesting read. I edited to shortin the post a litlle. Good read but after re-reading your post I kinda sorta agree about the not affecting peak power. There is also another factor wich is between the two. Will anyone really see or feel a difference? I called around and asked Geoff for a comment and no one that I talked to today has ever seen a difference and the most common thing is to make a little passage to the inlet and outlets (wich my tank at that moment didn't have or may never have). So when she all gets done I will for sure share the results on how things turned out.

Maybe I shouldn't have posted pics so early. Man is there a lot of questions that will get answered when the car is closer to being done. I opened a can of worms on myslef. LOL. LAter
