Default Turbo Question.

I recently installed the Ultimate-Racing turbo kit. My car runs only to 6k rpms before it feels like i hit the rev limiter. In other words my vtec is not engaging me. I've checked the wiring with Wes (wesmaster) and it seems to be correct. The wiring was done from the greddy emanage onto the VAFC harness. No errors thus far. I ran a CEL that gave a error of P1259, which I don't know what that is. What Wes and I tried was setting the vtec engagement at 5000 rpms, and when going to 5000 it acts the same way when I went to 6000 rpms. This was all discovered during my tuning session last Saturday. Any help would be appreciated. Here's a list of things i've done to see if it would fix my problem.

Flash the firmware on greddy emanage, checked wires, talk to various guys, and no workie.

I take it you have all the jumpers and settings done. Pretty sure Wesmaster would have covered this with you.

When you say the car feels like it hits the rev limiter is the brick wall feeling you get when you rev too high when it's cold?

Perhaps double check your wiring. It's very easy to get the splice connections (such as VTEC) around the wrong way.

P1259 is VTEC system failure. I don't have any other advice other than recheck your wiring.

I reckon you've got your IN and OUT around the wrong way.

Check also that your Map sensor or ECU is not seeing boost. When it sees positive pressure, it will pull timing and the car will lose tremedous power then also. Just a suggestion.

That's the exact feeling I have.
