Default Turbo to SC

I am contemplating the switch from a possible trade from a Greddy Turbo kit to a Vortec/CTSC kit.

Has anyone done this transition?

Any thoughts?

I have but it was from a Comptech supercharger to a Greddy turbo kit and now to a Inline Pro kit.

Its an easy swap IMO and the superchargers are MUCH less of a hassle and very easy to install and tune.

After I kill my AP1 (probably two years or so) I plan on getting a newer AP2 and going high boost supercharger with either a SOS or Vortech kit. The superchargers make a good deal more power on the AP2 models and 400 plus can be had and that's all I need/want.

you will miss the power on demand the greddy provided

maybe just switch to a bigger and better turbo kit?

If you are going to SC I would go with the SOT.

on the less of a hassle

But on the tune they are about the same if you know what you are doing with each setup.

My SOT numbers are linked in my sig.

And the kit in FL is close to hittign 400whp on his setup @ ~10-11psi
