Post Turbo setup is finally complete...

Hey guys, today we finally finished tuning my car with the LoveFab GT1 setup. I finally got to boost the car tonight for the first time after over a month of not having the car and needing to install everything twice after the clutch gave out. All I can say is WOW, the car just pulls like crazy. I am so happy right now, I can't even express it in words, the turbo setup just kicks ass.

I know that I wouldn't have been able to get this project done without the help from everyone on s2ki and I would like to thank all of the FI guys who helped me out along the way. I would like to give a special thanks to Arnold (blues2k3) for all of his help and support with tuning the car, he is really a great guy. I would also like to thank my boy eddie the wrench for all of his help with the install, tims2k and Brian (Scorpion) for helping me out with my EMS maps, Sideways for posting those pics of the o2 sensor wiring, Billman for advice on the clutch install, Cody with his support over at LoveFab, and lastly Ralphie over at DRT in Queens for tuning the car. Big thanks to everyone from S2Ki , without this forum this wouldn't have been possible and all I can say is that I am finally boosted and I am just loving it. BTW, the car put down 330whp, 223 ft/lbs @ 6psi on a GT3071R. Also, turbo lag is non-existant with this turbo, it is just insane.

Here are a few old pics of the finished product, I will post a video over the weekend.

Nice glad you like it, so GT1 is making out very nice healthy number. I am waiting for this kit also, question about the clutch was it bad before you install the turbo. Maybe I should have a clutch on stand by just in case.

Thanks. No, the clutch was perfect before the turbo install. The oem clutch/PP/flywheel had 15k on them, but as soon as we put it on the dyno it started slipping. I definitely recommend that you upgrade your clutch before you install the turbo. Good luck with you setup.

Nice numbers Michael, I hope I can get the same on Monday!

Kenyellows2k- Please do the clutch first! Other wise you will be really good at turbo install after you have done it twice.

how did it fit? I know of an installation on one, and the downpipe is hanging about 2 fingers off the floor... 4" down which.. bottlenecks back to 3" :dontknow: pretty stupid, but apparently Lovefab offers that as an option for their kit.
