Default turbo setup opinions

i want to start off by saying im new as it comes to creating these forums. ive had my s2k for a little over a year and just ordered a pfab log manifold, garrett gt3076r, godspeed intercooler with piping(supposivly good for 650hp) rc 750 injectors, and aem ems 2 ecu. i know i still need a fuel pump and was looking into warlbro's 255. this is my first turbo build and ive been reading these forums for a pretty good amount of time. i just need peoples input on how my setup is looking because in my opinion experience is knowledge. i'd rather everyone give me their honest opinion. my feelings wont be hurt. im just trying to get this done right the first time with as little issues as possible. before i even start the build i was looking into getting a 3mm head gasket, new head studs and a turbo sleeve to keep heat from causing damage. theres also a couple places here in texas i was looking to get it tuned but i still havent decided. thanks for the help.

Ditch the Rc's for ID1000's. I would look into the aeromotive or full blown 340 pump instead of the walbro.

I would get a different manifold if it were me. Also would go with different injectors and pump like already stated. I've also read alot of bad stuff about the 3mm head gaskets.

thanks for the input. what exactly have you heard about the 3mm head gasket? from what i read its suppose to make it "safer" by lowering the compression.

Just say no to 3mm headgaskets. The safer thing is a myth. Just about everyone that used one has blown it and gone back to oem.

yes that's correct. i posted this subject a while ago and everyone told me to stick with the oem gasket. i didn't listen to them and went ahead and installed the 3mm gasket. just two month later it blew. trust me, most of the people on this forum knows what their talking about. stick with oem head gasket and get some ARP head studs
