I have a question....I know the vast majority of the s2000 owners out there have super charged there engines....so heres my question whats the advantage going SC vs. Turbo?
Just my opinion based on observation around here, for what it's worth!

Turbos typically are a "freebie" compared to superchargers since they utilize spent exhaust gases to generate the additional boost. Superchargers run off the engine, so are not as efficient. Turbos can run a high amount of boost which can generate lots of HP at the risk of major engine damage unless you build the engine to compensate for it. Superchargers on the other hand seem to be a little more reliable, and in some cases like the Comptech, can still retain the mfg's warranty which can be a plus. So as they say........."You pays your money and picks your poison".............either one is a blast and can piss off alot of Z06 owners
IMO:
Turbo Positives: You can run as much boost as you want by twisting your knob on the boost controller which meaning more power. Power is at your use a lot lower in the rpms. Sound of a turbo setup at very wicked.
Turbo Negatives: Not street legal or carb legal(At least not in CA). Requires more tuning (compared to CT's bolt-on kit). Not quit as streetable compared to supercharger and might require a stiffer more durable clutch setup which might not be as streetable.
Supercharger Positives: Carb legal (CT SC). Is a bolt-on kit not requiring any tuning (Lower boost set up).
Supercharger Negatives: Can not simply up boost by twisting a knob. Max boost is not in lower rpms.
If it was not for carb and street legal issues, I would have gone turbo!

Turbo can give you a lot more power if you want it but can easily blow your motor. I for example would be too tempted to turn that knob a little too high when I want to beat someone. At least with the supercharged you will be
since you can't make it faster easily but not
cause you have a blown motor.
If you are looking for a just a little more power then SC is def the way to go. If you are looking to dish out some cash down the line to make your S sickly fast then def go turbo. at 6.6lbs I made an additional 135hp compared to stock. Sure I wish I had gone the turbo route sometimes but i'm much happier knowing that my motor has way less of a chance at blowing up.

SC pros:
cheaper, bold on and prooven to be reliable
SC cons:
power will come only after VTEC and it will give you that reported 100HP WHP more only for 0.5 second..you will still be slow below VTEC since the SC takes more power than it gives at that engine speeds
while cruising, you are boosting
Turbo pros:
a proper kit spools up at 3500RPM and gives you 50% more torque below VTEC than you have at 7500RPM in a stock car
the added power is there from bottom to top, not only at the peak so you can show of with a dyno result
while cruising, your boost is low
Turbo cons: u can't be cheap if you wanna play hard

You say that you'll be boosting while cruising with the SC and the turbo spools at 3,500rpms?
I cruise (highway) 4-4.5k, My sc with the smaller pulley if I floor it puts out maybe 2lbs, turbo will be in full boost since you say if spools at 3.5k.
My understanding is that would be a pro for the SC that your not always in full boost.
