An exhaust cutout with the stock exhaust is the best decision for someone who doesn't just want to drive the car once and a while, or who isn't under 25.

Test pipe with hi-tech exhaust that has dual pass mufflers and a vibrant ultra quiet resonator on my turbo s2k = zero drone

Just get a test pipe and call it day with whatever whp you put down. I hate drone and loud exhausts anymore ( I'm 28 ) I just don't like everyone in a half mile radius knowing I'm coming/tearing up the back roads.

I'm 29 as well and with my inline pro stg. 1 I'm running a berk tp and hks single exit 3 inch. Drone takes a backstage pass to flow/performance. I just keep thinking how much I love the car and vtec and ignore the drone. Its not my dd since I'm trading in my 2012 tundra tom. For a 2015 wrx for a daily.

Thats the way to do it! The S will just be a toy for me as well. I decided to keep stock mufflers. Just gonna run 3" custom setup with qtp. Quiet when im takin the ole lady around. If I run into trouble. Power at the flip of a switch. : )

1. The max you can make on the stock exhaust will be 400whp. That is with a 3" downpipe, custom test-pipe, and stock catback.

2. Just build a full custom exhaust like I did and itll be super quiet and still support the numbers you are looking for. I did the P-Tuning 3" downpipe, custom 3" test pipe, and 3" catback with mid car a magnaflow super quiet muffler, then on the rear of the car I have a vibrant super quiet resonator with a downturn tip. THe car is very quiet and subtle while driving... but screams when in higher rpm`s like can be expected. if you want to do dual just do the same but double mufflers or resonators.

Any sound clips of your setup? After taking drone into consideration, i decided on going with full custom 3" dp, test pipe, single res, and having a qtp cutout before the split. And running 3" all the way to the oem mufflers, just neck it down an inch or 2 b4 mufflers.

One question i have is what'll happen once im tuned makin 500+whp through the qtp of course, and while im driving with qtp closed, if i go wot, how will the car react? Does it hurt afr #'s, or act goofy, or what would happen
muffler went before the resonator simply because i like how the smaller resonator looked on the rear of the car. shoot me a text and I have some videos. 860-670-4051
