Default Turbo'd S2s & their owners experience

Just wondering how reliable your S has been after its been turbo'd. Problems & things to look for. I've been contemplating the Goodspeed Turbo kit. I am unsure how reliable my car will be after turboing it. I've been dealing with DSMs all my life so I understand the importance of correct tuning & all the missing pieces from the Goodspeed Kit. I'm not looking to make mad power & to be king of the street just a little more speed without paying a price of a nice used car. If you all can chime in that be great. Thanks guys.

if you get a godspeed kit reliability will suck. Get a decent kit and reliabiliy is as good as your tune and install.

Nice numbers for only 9psi. There has been a lot of talk about the Goodspeed kit not having a oil relocater kit but it doesn't look like the filter needs to be relocated. It(the turbo) seems to sit above the oil filter. Why would that kit make my car less reliable? With tunning that should be key to a reliable car right? Unless you're implying that the kit itself is not good quality?

Yea, hes isnt saying you HAVE to relocate your oil filter. I am running the Pfab topmount and wont be using one. As he said, your reliability is as good as your kit, tune, and install. Half ass it, you can guarentee it will only run half the time.

Get a decent kit(EX. Pfab, Lovefab,Fullrace,Inline pro)

im making 375hp,260tq@10psi. almost 30,000 miles boosted for more than a year. not a single problem. Regular man't is always done on time. i don't rag the shit out of the car everyday but it does get driven hard. i pop my hood once a week to make sure everything is good to go. check my sig for the full setup...

Only regret for having a Turbo S2000 is not doing it when I first bought the car. I waited a couple of years. Late bloomer
